In the last few days, I have upgraded my own WordPress blogs and those of clients for both WordPress and various plugins. I did these upgrades using the WordPress automatic-upgrade feature. All upgrades went perfectly and without difficulty — with just a click of the mouse.
Of course, I backed up the old wordpress files and database before doing the upgrade. This proved to be unnecessary, but I always have and will continue to do this — just in case.
What do I think of the easy upgrade feature for WordPress? I just love it!
